EMC was established in 2005 by Henry Cruz. Over the years, Mr. Cruz has gained experience in residential and commercial construction. He is taking all of that knowledge gained and combining it together to build the deck that is safe and right for you.

Clients will experience a seamless, “one stop shop” for all of their architectural design and deck construction needs.

Here at EMC we strive to develop a concise, detailed, and coordinated set of documents within the communicated timeframe and budget for our clients. The goal of Elite Modern Construction (EMC) is to provide deck designs and build services in the greater Philadelphia area.

People

Henry Cruz, Owner – EMC, joined the United States Army upon graduating high school. As a combat engineer he gained the experience and knowledge on how to build well fortified structures. In 1997, Mr. Cruz received an honorable discharge, after serving 12 years. He then started working in the construction industry. Mr. Cruz graduated College with High Honors receiving two Associates degrees, one in Business management, and the other in Applied Science. In 2005, he decided it was time to establish his own company, and now, EMC has been in business for 25 years. Mr. Cruz is bilingual and speaking Spanish has helped him while on the job site coordinating the construction disciplines and workers. On his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors. He loves hiking in the mountains or catching a “doormat flounder” at the shore.
